This Kinetix Partner technique is easy to learn, and it’s the NICEST (translation: feels sooooo good) technique in the Kinetix toolbox.
Before trying this technique, please make sure you don’t have a contraindication (which means I would advise you NOT to do this, at least not yet).

If you do enjoy this and it feels GOOD, then congratulations because your plantar fascia is pretty healthy! Relax and ENJOY.
If you discover that you hate this because it’s really painful, then…this is really good data. It means your plantar fascia is tight and dehydrated, and I highly recommend using this technique for the bottom of your foot to release the fascia before trying this partner technique.
Grab a partner and make sure to watch the video for instructions, because you really need to see this to get it right. While it is the easiest Kinetix technique to learn, there are still some important things to keep in mind and I cover all of it in the video.
You’ll need a high backed chair (or counter, or the back of a couch) and a comfortable mat for the person getting stepped on to lie face down.
Unlike most fascia release techniques of mine where I say to stay on one spot for just 30-40 seconds, you can stay on the bottoms of the feet for as long as this feels good to you (or, as long as your partner will keep kneading your feet like a cat pawing you!)
Hopefully you can find a partner for this! If you don’t have a partner, you can try the plantar fascia release (but it’s not exactly the same, and not quite so feel good). I know a lot of people who’ve used their kids for this, who find it kind of fun to step on mom or dad 😉 Surely you have a partner somewhere?
